HOPE worldwide - Papua New Guinea
HOPE worldwide Papau New GuineaHOPE worldwide programs in Papua New Guinea include educational, medical and socially focused programs to help meet the needs of underdeveloped communities. The HOPE worldwide - Papua New Guinea/National Library of PNG school library program started in 1999 to help over 70% of schools in PNG that did not have any form of a library.

The library program has provided reading materials and helped improve literacy and also promotes community involvement as others join in the effort to provide readily availbe reading materials for schools. Other programs also provide vocational education and social education to help local communities to become more self-sufficient in meeting their substiance needs.

HOPE worldwide Papau New GuineaHOPE worldwide also provides many medical services to areas with high levels of unemployment and lack of medical resources and services. The Nine Mile Clinic has served for over 11 years and is one of the busiest medical facilities in the Port Moresby (capital city) area. Communities from provincial areas are able to receive care and attention from dedicated and capable members of the HOPE worldwide staff.
